Ever wonder about how normal you and your pets are? We often do so we decided to look and see how our pets compare to other big cities. So after looking up the top breeds at a few of the major cities, us normal people here in Chicago are a pretty basic lot with the normal everyday hard working dogs. Here are the dogs we like.
Chicago’s top 5 breeds for 2013
1. German Shepherd
2. Labrador Retriever
3. Bulldog
4. Golden Retriever
5. French Bulldog
No doubt a reflection of Chicago’s hard working lovable population, with the emphasis on hard working.
New York City’s top 5 breeds for 2013
1. Bulldog
2. French Bulldog
3. Labrador Retriever
4. German Shepherd
5. Golden Retriever
No doubt New York is on the same track as us but with the emphasis on needing more love.
Los Angeles’ top 5 breeds for 2013
1. Bulldog
2. French Bulldog
3. Labrador Retriever
4. German Shepherd
5. Yorkshire Terrier
We were very surprised by this one because we were sure the 5th dog would in fact be in the top 2. Just proves that there are some working folks out on the left coast but for the most part they are looking for that unconditional love that only certain breeds can bring.
